Private Lessons
For lessons I travel to my student's homes--without the student worried about arriving on time this allows them to feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident while taking their lesson on the same piano and in the same space they practice in.

Lesson lengths:

***I don't recommend going over an hour for a lesson unless it's split between piano and voice.

Age Policy
Piano
Ages 4 and up!
If your child is showing interest in music before age 4, keep encouraging them, but I prefer to wait until 4 to begin formal lessons.
For the adults--there is no such thing as too late to start!

Voice
Ages 9 and up!
It's a little trickier to put an age on this. Since the instrument is the body and mind, it helps to wait for maturity, which is why I recommend waiting till 9 years old. For younger than 9, I am happy to meet with you and the student, try a couple of lessons, and then evaluate whether formal lessons are beneficial to them at this time.
